Monday 18th November Long Walk - From Cholesbury Common HP23 6ND and will take us through woodland and open fields to St Leonards, Hastoe and return.  It is an easy 5.5 miles long with a number of stiles/kissing gates and several gentle short gradients.
As usual we will meet at the Village Hall from 9.15am leaving prompt at 9.30am. If you are leaving your car at the Village Hall please park in front of the Scout/Guide building adjacent to Bon Ami.  If you are going direct please meet on the hardstanding area by Hawridge and Cholesbury Cricket Club, The Common, Cholesbury, HP23 6ND.  There is not much parking space so I suggest we park up behind each other. When full there is alternative parking nearby. Please be there by 10.05am.
Lunch will be at The Greyhound, Chesham Road, Wigginton, HP23 6EH.  We do have to pre order so if you are intending to stay for lunch could you please contact Ron Collins- ron13collins@gmail.com select from the attached menu and let me have your order by 10am on Friday, 15th November. Monday 25th November Long Walk - in aid of Children in Need. It will be a very easy 5.5 miles starting at The Flower Pot in Aston near Henley - post code RG9 3DG.  There are two short, minor gradients with the rest of the walk being on the flat. Going out the walk towards Henley will be through fields and woodland with some lovely views and the return will be along the footpath by the Thames. This is a walk everyone can enjoy and you are welcome to bring as many friends/relatives as you wish.  There will be a £5 minimum donation required for all participants.
We will meet as usual from 9.15am at the Village Hall departing prompt at 9.30am.  If you intend leaving your car at the Village Hall, could you please park opposite the Scout/Guide building adjacent to Bon Ami.  If you are going direct please meet in the car park at The Flower Pot at 10am
Lunch will be at The Flower Pot and we do not need to pre order.  We have eaten here several times before and have always been well served as indeed we were yesterday. This pub is dog friendly but only in the bar.
If the weather is looking inclement I will send out an email on Sunday 24th November.
